They were bad because I said there were bad and there was less money for my welfare constituents.

I know we should agree with Obama to impose higher taxes on already struggling businesses, tax the unemployed to death, impose ridiculous taxes on people who drink Mountain Dew, choose to tan, and the companies that manufacture, or offer such services. Do you know that Obama has discriminated against me? I am a woman, and have every right to do what I want to with my body! Beings that I am a woman I have the RIGHT to chose to tan without having to pay a communist tax! Also, only white people tan, so that is another form of discrimination. If white people want darker skin, then they must pay a tax for it! DISCRIMINATION! I am tired of people thinking that only black people, or Hispanics are discriminated against!

Bush's tax cuts did not ruin the economy. His tax cuts seem to be for the rich. Obama gave everyone a great tax return this year. He even allowed three children to be claimed on earned income credit this year. Where did the money come from? Did this add to the largest deficit that this country has seen? Oh, I know you don't care about that just as long as you got your BIG tax return!

Do I agree with Bush? NO NO NO

Bush was a self serving drunken president, he caused trouble everywhere he went, and had speculators jack up the predicted cost of oil, so that he would become rich. He also tried to turn this country into a service industry only, which was a stupid thing to do. Every idea, intention, or action of that man was PURE STUPID. That is what we get when we have to choose between that lying, cheating, swindling, conniving

If you give the rich more money, they usually and did use it to speculate, the tax cuts put billions into the stock, commodity, housing and other markets, it pumped them up very high, and eventually the house of cards came down.

They also invest it overseas, take those American dollars, use it to build the factory in China, so you can lay off the American worker faster. Tax cuts used to stimulate the economy, but now the money goes overseas or into the hands of a few bankers and hedge funds.

I believe, in simple terms, that the majority of the tax breaks benefited large corporations and the wealthy. The average and lower income families bore the brunt of these tax-breaks by paying higher prices, especially at the gas pumps.

I've always found it offensive that the prices at the gas pumps change on a daily basis, based primarily on the price-per-barrel of oil on that particular day. If the retailer paid let's say, $2.00 per gallon for a load of fuel, and charges $2.50 to the consumer, how can he raise the price to $2.60 just because the price-per-barrel went up the day after he received his shipment, even though that price rise wouldn't affect him until he received the next shipment?

Anyway, I could get on a soapbox and really start in on my opinions, but I just wanted to answer your question and not begin a debate, lol. I hope this helps....

They are just like meat cuts to the tiger. Give a tiger, who can eat up to 200 pounds at one eating, 1,000 pounds of meat, and expect him to share. Go in the cage and try to carry out your share. You will die. Tigers know meat. The rich know money. Give them money, and they keep it. They don't go around saying, "This city has too many pot holes. Let me pay for half of it." So anything that had to get done tax-wise was paid by the working class, whom the neo-cons call lazy because the crash threw a lot of them out of work.
