Oral Surgery...help!?
Ok, I have to get Oral surgery in August. I have to get my braces back on next week. What there doing (all at the same time) is expanding my palate (surgically), breaking my jaw and moving it to correct it and there taking out my wisdon teeth! All in one surgery! If anyone has had any of these surgeries pleaseee tell me how you felt after and how your mouth is now...I just want to hear from the people how this is and what I have gotten into! Thanks!!!!

I have had 4 teeth taken out for my brace and for my teeth to be corrected.. although I haven't had anything as drastic as that.. I found it rather fun! Yeah I know its weird but I enjoyed the thrill of it :S
The after effect is odd, you mouth feels considerably cold and tingly, then unfortunately.. the pain. But it's bearable for the effect it will have in the near future.
Hope this helps!

What you'll be undergoing is Maxilla advancement surgery. I've never experienced this kind of surgery but there should be not much problem as I know, if the surgeon knows what he's doing :)
