scam Windows Security Alert?

Here a generic guide for malware with fake security alerts removal. 3-5 solves problems with your internet connection so you can download stuff, 1-2 - so you can execute stuff.

1. Press ctrl+shift+esc right after boot.

2. Look for garbage processes under task manager and kill them. Like ewtweotiwet.exe.

3. Go into IE (for FF it is similar), Tools->Internet Options->Connection->Lan settings and remove proxy checkbox.

4. On Vista/7 run Start Then enter notepad in search box, do not press enter. Rightclick once found, then choose run as administrator. On XP, launch it normaly.

5. Open this file : C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc\Hosts and empty it.

6. (Optional) Open in IE Tools->Add-Ons and remove everything that is from companies you do not know.

Now you should be able to browse and download software. Google the processes killed in 2nd step. If they are not listed as good, search for them on the disk and delete them. If you can't, Just download malwarebytes or Spyware doctor and they should do that stuff for you.

If you cant launch the software, start them from within task manager. (New process, and enter full path to executable).

no idea what your talking about but i have an idea

anyway download malwarebytes and install it and run the scan, its really good. update first though. if it doesnt work turn your computer off, not by going to shut down, just turn it off and turn it on, itll ask if you want to start in safe mode, or safe mode with net working, chose networking and re install malwarebytes or run it and do the update and scan.

also after that get spaybot search & destroy and update and scan. then gp get avast antivirus pro (its free) and do the same thing

i have this combo, extremly effective at removing and preventing viruses, malware, threats, rootkits etc.

download and install http://www.malwarebytes.org/ then boot into safe mode and run it.
