Can I still wear retainers at age 21?
I had crooked upper teeth as a child. I had braces on when I was 9 or 10 for 3 years. I was told to wear a retainer every day so my teeth could remain straight. I did but it gave me a lisp which I hated, I'm embarrassed to say that after 2 weeks I stopped using it solely because of that. It was immature. Now I regret it because my upper teeth has turned a bit crooked.
Is there any chance that age 21 or maybe 22 (don't know how much it cost, might need to save money) teeth could be fixed again? Or is it too late already?

It's worth a shot. Retainers will be able to straighten your teeth to a degree - that's what my orthodontist told me when I asked him.
I have the same dilemma, I wore braces 6-7 years ago but then didn't really wear the retainer as I was meant to. Now my teeth have shifted slighty and are less straight. I still have the retainers and keep thinking of wearing them again but never come round to doing it for long. I'm the same age as you by the way :)
