I wonder what Yoshihiro Akiyama thinks of Cris leban being inferior to him now ?

He kept saying that Leban was not in his league as Wanderlei Silva was. He thought he would finish Leban in a couple of rounds.

Update:

Yeah, I agree that he ran out of gas. but what made him think that he could beat Wanderlei Silva who is more dangerous than Leban ? Leban clock him good several times that's what weakend him.

Update 2:

I agree with you Jojo!! LOL!!

Update 3:

That's what I thought david. Leben shut him up good. But for a muscled man like him and at that weight he ran outta gas real fast. Vanderlei would have detroyed him.

Hell Yea, I had mixed feelings about this fight.

I love Judo and wanted Judo to win, But I hated when Yoshihiro Akiyama talk about Chris and He was a American fighter.

Yoshihiro Akiyama, in my opinion is to muscular. I mean all that muscles he going too need oxygen to full them and it hurt his cordia.

After the fight, am officially a Chris leban fan LMAO FOREAL<>>

Yoshihiro Akiyama was doing better know question about it, tell the last 30 seconds of the fight. He landed more punches and he kept taking him to the ground with incredible Judo. He just got to tired and did not fight back anymore and was hoping the clock would have ran out because he new he would have won the judges decision. But the fact is he got to tired and to relaxed in the last few seconds and thought he was safe which got him choked out.

I did loose 10 dollars on the fight but won 400 on Lesner so IDC anymore, haha.

Source(s): If he were to only work on his cardio I am sure he would have won the fight. Atleast win by decision You have to remember that he was training to fight a different opponent so all that muscle he had was for Wanderlei I bet ya. Plus come on who ever says that the person they are going to fight will be tough and has a chance of winning. It is the winners words that count and the loosers words are forgotten.
