What has education taught me, made me and helped me? I seriously need your help for my short speech tomorrow?

when i think of all these years in school, first thing that comes to mind is the struggle. the struggle to focus, be my own person, and to take in every piece of knowledge my teachers throw at me. Everyday i try to make the next more pleasant. whether it be doing my homework early or just plain being in a good mood. education has taught me so many things not only facts i need to know to succeed in life, but to take responsibility for myself, and my actions. it's honestly made me a better person. my education has made me appreciate hard work. people work so hard everyday so that i can learn. my teachers figure out their teaching plans for the week, lunch ladies cook me meals so that I'm not hungry , janitors make sure that i learn in a clean environment , even the people who have wrote, and put together all of my text books.All for me to learn, and for me to have the opportunity to be the best i can be .knowing all of these things has helped me cope with waking up at 7am only to still feel tired. i know that this is what i want. i love learning simple as that, and if that means staying up all night downing 3 red bulls to finish a paper, believe me its worth it to know that tomorrow its done, and that i gave it everything i had.

Aww I know exactly how you feel, especially with the chavs in the class. Im really shy too when I have to read damned speeches. Just take along some notes so you have something to hold and look at cos then you wont feel awkward about where to hold your hands and if you lose your train of thought you can look at the notes to see where you were. Just take a deep breath before and remember that in like, 5 or 10 minutes it will all be over and you can relax!! good luck I hope your speech goes well!! Don't worry about it !! :):)
