What can I make with these ingredients?
All I have in my kitchen is bread, bananas, berries, nectarines, flour, butter, sugar, peanut butter, half and half, milk, eggs, soda, cookies, baking soda, baking powder, maple syrup.
I feel like baking tonight. I already made crêpe batter for tomorrow morning (to be served with some of the bananas grilled and fresh fruit), and I can't really figure out any way of making half and half into whipped cream. I was thinking pancakes? But I already have crêpes, so. And I just moved here so I don't yet have anything besides pots and pans to cook in.

You can make a great bread and butter pudding:
Cut the crust off the bread. Make a mixture of milk (3 cups or more depending on your baking dish), 3 eggs, 2 cups sugar. Beat mixture well until almost frothy. Butter baking dish and layer slices of bread, berries and bananas then pour the milk, egg and sugar mixture over each layer.
Keep some berries aside.
When all the layers are ready, pour the remainder of the egg, milk and sugar mixture over the top. Drizzle melted butter over the top and then sprinkle the top with sugar and douse with maple syrup.
Bake in the oven covered with aluminium foil at a medium heat for 2 hours or until the pudding raises and is baked inside. Test with a fork.
It should be delicious served with nectarines and berries on the side.

You could put some peanut butter in the crepe batter than instead of grilling the bananas you could just make a smoothie with the sugar or a milk and some half and half. And then add some cookies on the side of your crepes and use the maple syrup on top of your crepes.
Or you could try to whip some of the half and half the directions will be in the sources, but it won't be creamy or whippy as whipped cream. But it goes nicely if you pour it over your fruits if you just want them fresh with a added sweetness.
Source(s): You will be able to make whipped cream. It won't be as fatty a mouthfeel as heavy cream, but you will be able to whip it up. To make it go well, it needs to be ICE COLD to start off with. Put it in the coldest part of your fridge, and then stick in the freezer just before you plan to whip it. Do not remove it from refrigeration until you plan to use it. Don't take it out, then leave it on the counter while you are assembling your whipping apparatus. Only take it out to pour it into your bowl for whipping. Sticking the bowl you plan on whipping it in into the freezer is a great idea. The colder you keep it, the better it will turn out. Cold bowl, cold half n half, and a fast and furious whip. - 1 decade ago
Maybe a banana's foster? Heat butter in pan and slice bananas lengthwise, and place sugar or the syrup in the pan to caramelize, then add the banana slices to coat
Or maybe French toast! You soak the bread in half and half and eggs and fry it up in real butter, til brown, then pour maple syrup over top! Add some macerated berries (sit berries with a little sugar, good with strawberries), mmm
Or just eat the eggs fried in butter with toast with peanut butter.
Maybe a peanut butter and banana sandwich?
Yum, that's what I would do! Make sure it is balanced and healthy for you. I wouldn't do the sugary stuff as a meal, maybe dessert ideas.

You could make a fruit loaf (but you have to decide what fruits you want to use)
