I have a question about family trees?
Okay. So, yesterday morning I was at my Grandmother's house. (Because I spent the night because the night before that I was watching more fireworks. ANYWAY..) I saw my family tree and it's really kind of enormous. This thing goes as far back as the WAY late 1600's (I think)
It's full of maniacs, criminals, artists, immigrants and authors.
MY QUESTION IS..
What is your family tree made of? And how far does it go back?
I don't think any of my family contributed to building this country up.
I know that a couple of men on my Dad's side, as soon as they stepped off the boat, killed a man or two and got shipped right back.

my family tree goes back as early as the 1350s on my dads side. Galfridus Brewster was the man born on 1350 who had one son, and it kept the genealogy of that going until the 1600s.
on my moms side, it goes back as far as the 1530s with Henry Beckley. Henry Beckley is related to John Alden somehow, but it is confirmed. And Galfridus Brewster is an ascendant of Elder William Brewster and William Brewster who were members of the Mayflower and part of who who made Thanksgiving Day possible.
So mostly, my family tree is made of Presidents, people in the government (mostly related to the Brewsters), actors and tv stars.

Not to disregard your question as you might actually be serious, but my "family tree" is made up of may different sort of people and goes back to the 1600's in the US. They were people seeking religious freedom, adventurers, pioneers with a pirate or two, several lawmen (of sorts) and even more ministers, there were an artist and writer or two, all came from immigrants but there are also Native Americana's there too. The Arron Burr who shot Alexander Hamilton was the Grandson of my 8th Great-Grandfather, and George Washington's sister is another Great Grand Mother. When I run my family on a site like Ancestry.,com there are more "famous" relatives than I can keep track of and they include actors; politicians and the last woman arrested in Salem (1692) for witchcraft, . Many of them I I wish I couldn't claim and even more I don't bother with.. I were to produce a pedigree of my entire family there would be over 2500 names that I have a blood tie to. The point is that they all contributed in someway to the building of the United States and I would venture to guess you family did too.
