Yes, it is the responsibility of parents of underage children to ensure the children gets the proper medical care they need, and that includes dental work.

I don't know if they have a right to physically make you, but you should go. You'll regret it when you're older and your teeth are rotten, they help you keep on top of any first signs of problems, I needed a filling, I'd have serious tooth ache and an repairable tooth by now if it hadn't been for the dentist. What's worse a filling or a gap in your smile eh?

Yes, you have to go. What are you afraid to go to the dentist? If they said just cleaning? That is not hurt you and your parent already spend on the dentist insurance! If you don't go, then they are waste of their money!

Techically yes and you should be going anyways. If you want your teeth to be okay then go. I you want them to rot them don't /

Yes, they are your legal guardians and can force you into that kind of stuff... unfortunately.
