Are the names hurled at Obama euphemisms for the N word?

The number and variety of disparaging remarks leveled at President Obama seem to be something new in recent American politics. Certainly calling Presidents names is nothing new (I still like the pundit who called John Adams "his rotundity"). But the sheer number of different names he is called is dizzying: Socialist, Communist, Nazi, Muslim, Thug, Gangsta, Raghead, etc. The more "humorous" names have included "Obama the Magic N*gro" by the redoubtable Rush Limbaugh.

It all raises the question as to whether such individuals who resort to name calling are doing so because they can't call him what they really want to...

Is this a rhetorical question? The answer is so obviously "You're absolutely right" that the only reason I even respond is to get two points.

    Absolutely not.

That's democratic spin to marginalize a rational debate.

I've served with all different kinds of colors.

I see them all but don't generalize any of them.

Hyphenated Americans was a democratic idea.

Voting blocs started because of democrats.

Gerrymandering began because democrats were losing southern states.

ROBERT BYRD (D-WV) WAS IN THE KKK

The man William Jefferson Clinton mentored under FILIBUSTERED the 1964 civil rights movement.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. voted Republican.

There are more white people serving in Obama's administration than there were in Bush's.

Liberals claim to be the party of diversity and equality, but when exactly are they going to stop seeing this president as the first black president and start seeing him as the first Hawaiian President?

How funny you Liberals dismiss Rush with foul names but are always talking about him. In reality you are scared to death of the man. <makes chicken noises>.

The fundamental problem with the Liberal arguments especially the ones of racism is that your goal is to make it impossible to criticize the man. As the black panthers used to say while guarding a polling place, "anyone that opposes him is a racist". There has never been a president that has not been opposed by a very large percentage of the people and now you think Obama should not be opposed at all just due to his race. Who is racist?

According to you any description that is not flattering is a euphemism for the N word. I truly believe someone can disagree with him for more reasons than the fact he is black.

I think his race just adds another dimension to what they would be doing if any Democrats were in office. They will name-call and criticize anyone who doesn't agree with their political stances, no matter what color. That Obama is half-black just frustrates them because they want so badly to use that, too.

Edit: Conservative Avenger, apparently you aren't patriotic, then. You are so fond of debate and disagreement that you block people you are afraid of.

Yes. There is a deep-seated racism behind 95% of these attacks.

The only thing I see is you whipping out the race card to try & silence the people.

no, how far some have become from debate and disagreement being the highest form of patriotism!!!

Doesn't bother me none, I call him what I want, which is a narcissistic sociopath, a coward, a traitor, a plagiarist, a pathological liar, and last but not least, anti-America......I don't care what "color" he is..
