what are those airport helpers called that help older people in wheel chairs get to the plane?

I have flew all over and always saw people pushing seniors and people in wheel chairs get to the plane ,help with baggage and luggage.what are these people called I would liie to apply for a job like this.Does anybody know if you need experince in thios field?

    Skycaps. Hard job to get. A skycap in a busy, big-city airport makes killer money, like 6 figures a year.

    I think they would be what one would consider as a "porter"; don't know what the qualifications are for such a job,, but some sort of experience in the hospitality industry, where you're dealing with the public, would likely be an asset.
