Ski resort job in the USA?
Hi, I am trying to get my Green card at the moment in the states. I thought I could try and get a job in a ski resort. Does anyone know any resorts that still hire applicants with a H2B visa.

I have no clue where you live, but the northwest has a lot of ski resorts in close range of each other. Ex: 49 Degrees North, Silver Mountain, Schweitzer Mountain, Lookout Pass, Mount. Hood, ect.
I know Schweitzer is looking for employees right now both winter only and year-round (look at http://summer.schweitzer.com/company/employment.ph... This is a great time of year to apply to resorts. Just go to various mountain's websites and look for job postings, if their are any before applying send a very polite official e-mail to the person in-charge of employment asking if you can apply with your visa.
Don't send out a mass e-mail make each personalized (and maybe mention one or more of the jobs you're interested in) to make yourself seem dedicated and trustworthy (first impression is very important, otherwise they might think you're not worth the effort to look into their policy).
Good luck.

H2B jobs in resorts have been cut severely over the last two seasons. Basically only people with qualifications are eligible to apply for H2B - ie instructors, lift mechanics etc.
However - good luck !!!!!!!!
