what is the penalty for failing to pay a fine relating to selling cigarettes to a minor?
in los angelos, if a person gets a fine for selling cigarettes to a minor, what is happens after that? is it just a misdemenor or is it considered a felony? what would the punishment be? especially is this person has a warrant out but turns himself in?
idk...this is a friend of mine not me. they just found out today bout the whole thing
my friend didnt know there was a fine to be paid. if there is a warrant out does that mean they still hafta do the time?

if you return to court and ask to see the judge he will give you a payment plan you can agree to. If you ignore it and wait till they find you the warrant will have been issued and you will find your self sitting in jail until you can see the judge and he will give you more fines and some jail time and you can pay that after sitting in jail again.
