Why is nano paper / sponge not being used to sop up oil spill in Gulf?

This was the promise from MIT two years ago. Why haven't we heard a thing about it during this oil spill in the Gulf?

Because it also soak up sea water along with all and would become heavy and would sink. Instead sobrent (I think I am spelling it wrong) can be use. It is coated with fluorine so it would only take in oil not water as fluorine is non-polar so it is water-hating.

because obama would fire anyone saying his plan isnt perfect. with the 2500 oil skimmers they have turned away or sent back for small safety reasons like not enugh fire extwishers on board u would think obama would do everything in his power at hand to stop this, the diff about bush is that bush said i dont care the cost what every u need i will get it for u. vs obama which denied 2500 water skimmers because we might have a oil spill somewhere else wtf. this should have never hit land and obama said this would be cleaned up im a few days but u never hear that on the news all i hear is it all bushes falt and the general was out of line when he could run this country better than obama.
