Can anyone recommend any hair dye brands?

I would like to dye my hair a dark reddish brown color (like a dark auburn color), but I've never brought a hair dye before. Can anyone recommend any brands, particularly ones that are non-damaging and long-lasting?

Since you're new to hair colour, I would suggest going for a hair dye that is semi/ demi- permanent (won't last as long so long as it isn't too dark compared to your natural hair colour, as permanent dye).

A good brand that I personally liked was the Clairol Natural Instincts brand. They have a wide selection of colours including their newest "rich" shades.

I hope you find this helpful. :)

I recently dyed my hair red using Garnier Nutrisse. It turned out a much deeper red than the box made it seem, and my hair feels great; not damaged. I'm very happy with the color, and I'd recommend the brand.

Before trying Garnier I had gone with Revlon colorsilk, and wasn't very happy with it. It didn't work well on my hair, hardly changing the color except up at the roots. But my hair is long, thick, and seems to be resistant to color, so you might not have the same experience.

The name of the Garnier dye was "rich auburn". Here is a link if you are interested, there are lots of color choices. http://www.garnierusa.com/_en/_us/our_products/sha...

Good luck dying your hair! I hope you're happy with whatever color you choose.

Clarol is the main suitable besides as Loreal. it is an undemanding, much less costly application. some are on the industry for as low as 5 greenbacks. they have an excellent array of distinctive colorations, even some with equipped in highlights. they have a small packet of conditioner you're meant to apply interior the hair dye container. to maintain the colour clean, use a shampoo for hair dye interior the colour you replaced it to and purely use the conditioner that got here interior the container.

Clairol Natural Instincts is the brand I've used and have received compliments.
