Snappers are tough. Chances are it will head downhill until it reaches water.

attempting to hand feed a snapping turtle is a huge thank you to lose a finger, or a hand counting on the size of the turtle. a chum of mine had a a million/4 acre pond in his back backyard. whilst they have been young toddlers, he and his sister released 2 toddler commons into the pond. They grew to become out to be female and male, and it wasn't long till now the pond replace into overrun with snapping turtles. I observed the unique pair whilst they have been approximately two decades previous (very, very youthful for snapping turtles--Jack Hanna has one that is assumed to have belonged to Thomas Jefferson's toddlers). the two had carapace lengths nicely over 30", and the heads have been the size of soccer balls. shop that for the period of concepts whilst questioning approximately housing for a snapping turtle.
