How long should it be before you throw out a pair of panties?

When their washed out, faded or ripped.

I don't see a reason to throw them out as long as they still look okay.

Basically, I keep mine until they start coming apart, or until they stretch out and don't fit well anymore.

When they get "Holier than Thou" or droopy, I'd say it is time to 86 them. No one wants to wear droopy drawers.

10 months, three weeks and four days. That's when they expire.

(For Heaven's sake, if you think they're too ratty to wear, replace them!)

when they start falling apart or get lots of holes in them or stretched too much

My rule is when they stop being white and start being gray lol
