My dog keeps peeing in the kitchen?

What can I use to put down on the kitchen floor so my dog stops coming back to pee on the cabinet?

Get one of those dog collars that shocks the dog when you push a button. Use liberally.

I would put is food or maybe his bed there just till he gets out the habit.

When i was training my dogs they did tend to pee at the same area so as soon as i seen them go there i would pick them up and put them outside on the grass and praise them telling them that was their toilet.

I try to give them into trouble when they are bad and praise them twice as much when they are good and give them a treat (sometimes just ice, it's really the tone of voice thats the treat.) I think the over praising for good behaviour usually works so keep your eyes peeled to get them outside in time. GOOD LUCK

first, clean up all her accidents. Since she is pregnant, thats probably the cause. Suggestions: Take her outdoors to the bathroom every night before bed. Next morning, bring her out. If she has peed again, clean up again. Later, go to a silent place and focus and speak to her about her accidents. That night, repeat. The next morning, repeat. Do this routine until she is not pregnant anymore.

I know someone who had the same problem.. Her solution was to put the dogs food there because dogs will not 'go' where they eat.. or sleep. That worked for her dog.. hopefully yours too!

    Hope this helped (:

If you put something down like newspaper, you're just training your dog to go on the newspaper in the kitchen.

You need to monitor him and when he pees, pick him up and take him outside and firmly yell "No" or "Bad dog" whatever. Don't rub his nose in it and don't punish him.

If he gets anxious it'll only cause him to do it more discreetly.

Vinegar It will stain your wood. Make sure that your dog doesn't have a urinary tract infection. You can also paper train your dog if it is left alone for a period of time.

put your dog on leash and take him outdoors on a routine schedule..the best way to potty train dogs is keep them inside a crate for an hour or so, then put on leash and take them out immediately. Dogs will not urinate their crate if possible...so crate train is essential..a crate needs to be the correct size for your dog....and he needs to sleep in this crate too...every night. as soon as you take him out of the crate, or kennel cage, take him for a walk outside and allow him to urinate in the same area...develop a routine...this will take a few days, so you must be patient and be consistant...soon, your dog will understand that he is only to relive himself outdoors. good luck, your dog and you will both be happier if you crate train him.

Don't use an ammonia based cleaning product. It mimics the smell of the urine and he/she will go to that same spot again. Bicarb works very well to get rid of the smell.
