Daughter refusing solid food?
My daughter is almost 6 months, and she's been doing a great job with solid foods since she was four months. She loved them, and would eat anything we put in front of her. I make all of her baby food. This last weekend we were out of town for over 5 days, and I wasn't able to bring the food with us. Therefor, she ate jarred baby food, which she wasn't a fan of. Now that we're home and I'm trying to feed her the food she likes, she's refusing it. Turns her head, locks her jaw, cries, and won't eat. Any suggestions?

Don't force her. She isn't supposed to have solids until at least 6 months anyway. Formula or breastmilk is the main source of nutrition till 1 year of age. When she turns 6 months just offer her 1 solid meal a day and if she wants it great and if she doesn't then that is okay too. Try again in a couple of weeks.

This is normal. My daughter is 14 months and she did the same thing around that age. Your daughter has probably developed a preference to the jarred baby food as opposed to the homemade stuff. Try feeding her the jarred again. Eventually she will eat the homemade stuff...if you keep offering it to her.

Yes, stop forcing it. At this age she doesnt' yet need any solids, and really shouldn't be having them. (6 months is the recommended time to begin.)
You can stop for a week or two and then try again, or you can wait until she shows interest again, which may not be until she can self-feed table foods. (Probably 7-9 months.)
EDIT: Hmmm... 3 thumbs down beause I said that an 'almost 6 month old' doesn't need solids yet? Ok... Solids are just for fun. If she doesn't want them, trust her. Continuing to force the issue will just make her more resistant.

My daughter is 5 months old and she just started eating baby food & she loves it! she's more of a fruit fan (Bananas, applesauce, peaches etc.) she's still bottle fed as well so i usually switch it up. rice cereal with applesauce in the morning or oatmeal & bananas, ah few bottles in the afternoon & then maybe ill give her sweet potatoes or something. Switch it up! good luck.

My daughter did that when she was 9 months old. The doctor told us to switch the type of food. Like instead of carrots give her another type of vegetable.
It worked for me. She didn't like bananas, so I switched to applesauce, and she loved that.
She still loves any type of apples 20 years later.
