Did Lebron James quit in the 2010 playoffs?

Thus he could sign with Miami Heat.

Not a Cleveland Cavs fan.

Yes. He quit. And Boston quit, too. They literally stopped playing after game 5!

I really, really wanted to be a LeBron fan but now I have no choice but to question his motives.

The spectacular disintegration of the Cavs, plus LeBron's one-hour televised assassination special pretty much seals it - LeBron hates the Cavs, Cleveland and Ohio. The dude more or less told them to drop dead.

It's entirely plausible that he knew he was leaving and played bad ball just to make it look more "reasonable" when he left.

I felt he did. And I'm glad Dan Gilbert said that he did.

I mean come on - in my opinion it was obvious he didn't want to stay with Cleveland for a while, especially after he signed his 3 year contract.

Had he won or gone to the championship series with the Cavs this year, he would have had to stay. Which he obviously didn't want to.

He can't win it by himself, therefore he sign with the Heat and let Dwade and Bosh hand him the ring. Even if he win it, I would consider his 2007 Finals where he got sweep by the Spurs were better than him winning a ring with 2 supertars.

Of course not. He simply deferred to his teammates that one game. He was struggling and decided instead of bricking he would try and get some teammates involved to pick up the slack a bit. And you see, as usual, none of the bums showed up. I mean how would you play knowing your teammate was poking your mother? With guys like Delonte West on your team who needs enemies?!

He didn't quit...he just proved he is never going to be Michael Jordan. He is the most overrated player of all time.
