Car problem, what should I do?

I have a car that just got out of warranty two months ago. I brought the car in twice before my warranty was up complaning of a grinding and traction problem. They never ran a test, they just gave me thier advice on what they thought it was (recommending to change my tires) Now that my warranty is over they finally decide to run a diagnostic test and found my whole anti-lock brake system is broken. I told them they need to fix it because I came in for this problem twice before my warranty expired. They said they have no documentation of me coming in, but I have two different people who were with me both times. They said that I have to pay $1300 to fix it because they dont have proof that I ever came in. I really did come in twice and have two people to verify, should I get a lawyer?? If not, what should I do?

put the scare into them. tell them if they don,t make it right your going to put their name in every newspaper you can find. they won,t like that because that would lose business. going to court you would,nt gain nothing because the court would up hold them over you. the newspaper sounds better then the court. once people reads what you have to say then they won,t be going there.

Your word againt the dealers would not stand up in court. Tell them you will be contacting your local news paper about your poor service from them.
