Psychokinesis, is the general term that can be used to describe a variety of complex mental force phenomena (including object movement). Telekinesis is used to refer only to the movement of objects, however tiny (a grain of salt, or air molecules to create wind) or large (an automobile, building, or bridge).

I believe in psychokinesis you must touch the object you want moved to move it. It also may have something to do with the energy put into the effort (A person punching through a car door.) With telekinesis, you can project your 'will' onto objects not so close and move them from a distance.

There is no difference in the application of the ability, which is now called mind-mater interaction.
However, telekinesis means movement at a distance. It was eventually realized that this term could be appropriately applied to movements caused by both magnetism and static electricity moving objects.
So, the term psycho (meaning mind, where tele means distance) was chosen as the new prefix to psychokinesis, so that the term more accurately reflects the source of the movement as the mind.

psychokinesis is the power to move objects without physical means.
telekinesis is the movement of objects without physical (apparently inexplicable) means.
a person might have psychokinetic powers, but objects move telekinetically.
subtle, but different.

It's the old lipstick on a pig trick. Telekinesis became psychokinesis before both, it was mind over matter.. By the way, it's due for another coat of lipstick any time now. If wouldn't surprise me if it's already being applied.

From Merriam Webster Dictionary:
Psychokinesis is the movement of physical objects without the use of physical means.
Telekinesis is the production of motion in objects (as by a spiritualistic medium) without contact or physical means.

None. They are both bunkum.
If you know of anyone who says that they produce such powers then I have this challenge for them:
Now my challenge goes out to anyone on this site that makes these miraculous claims. I dare you get the million dollars from Randi. I am sure you would love to shut him up, and take his money to donate it to children in need. As I do not claim to have any ability such as this, I am not in a position to be able to take up the challenge. But as such, I implore anyone who does claim this ability to just reach out and grab the money and put it to good use. It is useless sitting in a safe collecting dust. So instead of spruiking your gibberish on an open entertainment forum such as this, put your claims to the test. If you can actually do what you all claim you can do, it should not be too difficult.
You or anyone who proclaims such nonsense can claim the prize here:

Now that you know about this, it is not only your responsibility to claim it, but your civil duty as a member of society – to help those less fortunate. Good luck and go help those kids. They are counting on you.
