    I think it was the Latin phrase "per se."

    I usually don't call out misspellings in questions even though I'm a stickler about it in personal life, but I had seen "per-say" one too many times. It was used with complete misunderstanding.

    I don't remember. I haven't physically touched a dictionary in a while. I just go online for answers. I love reading urbandictionary though, its entertaining to see what people have to say in definition of real and madeup words.
