Yes, in Today's political world, every time a democrat loses an argument they make the racism claim. That all conservatives are racist and the only explanation for our disagreement with ANY policy is based on race. Obama wants to spend a trillion dollars on the South African Teetsie Fly and republicans object, it's because we are racist. If Obama wants to Flood the Mississippi River with Coca Cola and Republicans object it's because we are racist. No matter how absurd the policy, how expensive the policy, or how inadequate the policy if Republicans object it's due to race. The fact that the Republicans opposed many of these same policies in the Clinton and Carter Administrations have no bearing on the case, it all comes down to race. And that my Friend is why the liberals are losing more and more support, because they have lost the race argument, we have a Black President, and took that crutch away from them He could not have been elected with simply the Black vote it took millions of whites to get him elected.

Race baiting is a common tactic, but it's actually considered a racist act. The biggest problem is that it devalues the word racist. Even if people are racist, the frequent use of the word is actually counterproductive. If you use it with the moderate racsit, they will push back rather than learn. Some moderate racist are ignorant not hateful. If you educate them in a proper way, they will change their views, but if you attack them, like call them racist, that would generate hate. This shows those who use the word frequently to be really really stupid.

Also I found that those who use the word racist are often racist themselves. People use that word to say I am better than you. Well that is the base of racism.

And what is with some of the counter arguements here. Listing racist events does not have anyhting to do with the question.

Yes and they are doing it more to get a rise out of Conservatives and to draw attention off Obama's failures than to actually debate racism. The reason the argument is waning is because they are wearing out racism as an issue. Even now they complain that Yahoo is not paying "enough" attention to it. Too much crying wolf.

It doesn't pack much of a punch any more. It's always been a lie, and it's been thrown out there so many times that the only ones who continue to believe conservatives are racists were never terribly bright in the first place.

His body was in the river for three days before it was discovered and retrieved by two fishermen.

Racism DOES exist, but not all violence, criticism, hatred of an individual, policies, etc... come from that directive.

I'm not even remotely racist, but I don't like Obama because of his passionless delivery, his ideology, his smugness, and comments he's made about my personal religious beliefs.

So Liberals are actually hurting minorities with these labels, for instance, like the Obama Joker picture. Every time they come up with something like that, they lose credibility and race relations are set back.
