How do you replace a lost cell phone?

My son's AT&T cell phone was stolen and I need to get him another one, but getting a new one is CRAZY expensive since we are not due for an upgrade for a while. I was just going to get a used one on eBay or something, but since his SIM card is, of course, missing too, can I do this? In all my years of having phones, I've never lost one, so I'm at a loss. Thanks!

You can purchase a sim card for a fee of $50/$25 bucks with at&t ( I don't remember). Then you can buy a cheap at&t pay as you go phones at 7/11, market, or anywhere that sells prepaid phones. You can put the sim card in and use that cheap temporary phone until an upgrade is available.

To get the sim card asap, I suggest visiting an at&t store or kiosk at the mall. Pay the fee and get it activated.

I declined as that interior the top after a declare it quite is no longer too lots greater to easily purchase a various telephone; extremely in case you may get a used one.
