Need help choosing baby girl name?
We plan on being surprised on the gender, but we agreed we’d only be surprised if we can agree on a baby girl name before the ultrasound that gender can be determined at. We already have a boy name picked out and these are the three names we like below.
Here are the names I like:
Arabella (pronounced Air-uh-bell-uh), Mariella (pronounced in
Italian/Spanish: mah ree EL lah, pronounced in English: mary ella) and Serena (pronounced ser-REE-nah).
Here are the names meanings:
The meaning for Arabella is answer to a prayer, the meaning for Mariella is wished for child and the meaning for Serena is serene.
What’s your favorite name from this list and if I choose Mariella which pronunciation do you like best? Thank you!

My favorite name on this list is Serena,(who wouldn't want a daughter that's serene?).
As for your choosing of Mariella,I like the English pronunciation.

I like Arabella the best. It is the most elegant. If you choose Mariella I think that it will make life easier to pronounce it (mary ella) because thats the way everyone will pronounce it regardless of what you decide.

For Mariella - Mah Ree Ell Lah- definitely.
I think Serena is beautiful but I hate that spelling. I prefer Sarina or Sarena, the A in the beginning makes it more feminine looking,
Great names though!!

My favourites are Madeleine, Eleanor, Arabella, Mirabella, and Seraphine. Monroe is too much of a surname, Lexie would be OK if it is short for Alexis, or even better, Alexandra, Gypsy is just bizzare, Tallulah is a bit goofy, Clementine is goofy as well, Surie is too celeberty baby name-ish, Sicily is a city in Italy, however Cecily would be fabulous! Aviana sounds pretty, but made up, Delilah sounds gorgeous, but hate the connotations, Harlow is too masculine and Miami is a city in Florida.

Arabella sounds like Arab. She'll probably get stopped at the airport.
