What are the best brands/kinds of digital cameras?
I am looking at getting a new camera and I need some suggestions/feedback. I want something that is small and lightweight. I like to have a lot of zoom and definitely want to have high mega pixels. I would like to stay at $120 or less. I don't know whether to go for Nikon, Sony, Casio, Kodak, Polaroid, Canon, etc. Help! Thanks!

The best brand is Leica. The best kind is a dSLR. The best Leica is not a dSLR. It's a rangefinder. The best dSLR is not a Leica. It's a Hasselblad.
At your budget, the best I can recommend for you is a Sony Cybershot. As to what exact model, I don't know. Just march up to the store and get the most expensive you can afford unless you find a great color you really like to have. That is if the most expensive you can afford does not come in the color that you like. It is all up to you whether you go for the color or the price, you will still be satisfied shooting with a very easy to use and feature packed camera.
