so i performed a total of 3 trials twice.

T1

the final buret was 17

initial was 4.3

volume of KMnO4 is 12.7

T2

the final buret was 29.5

initial was 17

volume of KMnO4 is 12.5

T3

the final buret was 42

initial was 30.5

volume of KMnO4 is 12.5

AVG IS 12.6

PART B

the final buret was 25.5

initial was 14.5

volume of KMnO4 is 11

T2

the final buret was 36.5

initial was 25.5

volume of KMnO4 is 11

T3

the final buret was 47.5

initial was 36.5

volume of KMnO4 is 11

Calculate the concentration of potassium permanganate. I don't understand this at all!

I so far have the equation .. of

OA: MnO4 + 8H + 5e -> Mn2+ + 4H2O

SA: Fe2+ -> Fe 3+ + e-

net: MnO4 + 8H + 5Fe -> Mn2+ + 4H2O + 5Fe

and i dont know where to go from there .

    To know the conc of KMnO4 you need to tell vol of Fe++ and normality of Fe++ then only you can solve the problem by using

    N1V1=N2V2 and Conc =eq.wt x Normality
