My town is too small for me.?

Do you ever feel like your town just isn't enough? Like, seriously I know this sounds weird but recently I have been feeling depressed because I feel like I can't be the biggest I can be, and this town is holding me back. I mean, I'm not old enough to move out on my own or anything, so yeah. But I feel like I have to be somewhere like New York, or London or Paris. On my own, and independent. I hate the feeling of being held back by parents, and school and I just want my life to go quickly. But I don't want to feel this way because I want to enjoy my life. Teen years are the summer of your life right? But I keep wanting to get to the next part? Is this normal?

Sometimes I feel the same... I feel claustrophobic in my small town, like there's nowhere new to explore or go. I see the same people and same buildings, go to the same classes everyday. Sometimes I just want to grow up, so I can go anywhere and do anything. Other times I wish I lived in a huge city, where I could walk out the front door and get lost and things are always changing and moving.

Your ambitious and you've most likely perpared yourself for a future that is taking to much time to get to.

Teen years are a load of BS (of course depending on your experiences!) but i doubt that for most people their nothing good.

If you have a path you want to follow in the future e.g. a certain career then perhaps go about doing things in the mean time so that you will be able to pursue that things in the future and wont be held back by tthe hurdels life puts up against you.

You don't say how old you are, but since you're still living with Mommy & Daddy, I can only assume you're still a kid.

The Real World isn't always as fun & exciting as you think it might be. Be glad you're still a kid. "being held back blah blah blah"...poor thing...everything you need and/or want is provided to you. Wait until you have to work for your survival. I'm lucky (after about twenty years) to be able to sleep in & have weekends off. Gobs of spare time, a voluptuous girlfriend, and living in the Hub o' the Universe. Stop trying to grow up too fast. Enjoy it while you can, because, especially in these times, life can be hard. But not for me.

Small cities fluctuate, purely as massive cities do, and a few small cities are extra friendly than others. There are in many situations educational reward to dwelling and going to college in an excellent city, with the aid of fact extra suitable college platforms are waiting to coach a greater style of matters than are taught in small faculties. the main question comes right down to: do you opt to your infants to strengthen up able the place maximum individuals come from the comparable social type and characteristic comparable studies, or do you opt to your infants to strengthen up with different young ones from many diverse backgrounds.

This is kinda normal. Some towns aren't fit for some people. A country person would not fit in a city. A City person would not fit in the country. It's just the way it is.
