Maybe not genuinely harming, but it is a rather silly, irrational, and stupid obsession. Ah well...every generation seems to have some sort of obsession that makes everyone around them go "what the hell?!" and roll their eyes. Don't worry, years later when this generation is all grown up, they will look back at their uncanny obsession and laugh at how stupid it was.

I'm sure if insanity and Twilight are linked, it is the other way around. Insanity caused the Twilight crazy, if anything. Twilight was written by someone not a part of the generation that makes up the majority of the crazed fans.

They are already insane, Twilight is just an object by which that madness is expressed.

No, it's just a craze that will pass, like the Beatles or Pokemon

Personally i blame it on the lack of quality music that is harming this generation.

Severely. I went to school today to pick up my senior schedule and saw that we are now teaching a "Twilight 101" class. When will this madness end?!?!?!

    Yes.

I read an article on AOL on how people are actually biting others because they think it's cool and they want to be just like vampires.

  • haha i'd say so, now teens are looking for a fantisy life that doesnt exist. It just shows how lame and shallow our generation is gettting..and how unoriginal.

The Count(vampire) and Grover(kinda wolfmanny) from seasamestreet have been around for a long while.......I think we'll be ok.

Source(s): never seen twilight and don't plan to.
