I want to do this! What's This?

If there is a person or a company that you do not want to receive phone calls from or text messages, it is pretty easy to block their phone numbers.

You will have to create, if you have not done so, an account on-line through www.verizonwireless.com first.

    Difficulty: Easy

    Instructions

    1.

    Step 1

    1. Go into your Verizon Wireless Account on-line. "My Verizon" (Please make sure you have an account all ready or you just created an account)

    2.

    Step 2

    Then Go To "My Services"

    3.

    Step 3

Choose the SPAM Control: There you can add up to 5 phone numbers that you do not want to contact you. This also prevents these #s from text messaging you.

*Press APPLY then you are done. They block these #s for 3 months at a time. So you will have to repeat the steps in 3 months.

*To Unblock these #s, do the same exact steps as above, except just delete the number you want to unblock. Press "APPLY" and the number is unblocked.

To my knowledge there isn't a way to block specific people from calling your phone. Most carriers do have a way to block Text messages from specific people so you might want to start there if that's a problem. First things first, you might want to lodge a complaint with the magistrates office. Send the people harassing you a certified letter informing them that you have been to the Magistrates office and let them know that their current behavior is unacceptable. Have the letter notarized if at all possible. I had a friend who went through the same thing not too long ago. The letter worked wonders. They stopped harassing her immediately when she let them know that if they didn't stop she would get a restraining order against all of them and have them thrown in jail. Good luck!!!
