The Sims 3 download question?
Alright, so this is a little complicated.
I bought the game some time ago, but lost the CD and my computer crashed. FML.
But anyways, I felt totally screwed out of my money, so I am trying to download it, well, a little differently.
I followed all of the directions on this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpFRgzsmBJQ ... and yes, it is long and obnoxious.
SO, now, my problem is, I have downloaded the game, and used a serialcode that seemed to work. I think what I need is a crack, but I don't know anything about computers and its really confusing...
The files that I downloaded from the torrent site did come with a file that says Crack and has 2 things inside of it.
But how do I get away with not having a CD? The game is telling me that it needs me to insert the disk.... I don't have one!!

Okay,
I tried to do what you said,
by replacing the files in the game's folder with the ones in the crack folder, but it is telling me that it doesnt detect a valid version of the disk and it wants me to contact costumer service.

Well I must warn you that this is illegal, but theoretically you would replace the files in your Sims 3 folder with the files in the crack folder. This should work, if not you would have to find another crack.
