whats the best way to clean cream painted walls?
i have 5 boys and a mechanic for a husband so my cream walls are now a horrible grubby colour and for reasons i cant paint over it so i need to try and clean it make it look cream again any suggestions plz :)

Milton steralizing fluid! It can take the stain off anything!!

You need a strong alkaline detergent. I always use 'Janitol' which is available at most Janitorial Suppliers (Yellow Pages). The best way to clean walls is from the bottom up. I know it sounds odd but if you start at the top the detergent carries dirt onto the remainder of the wall which will almost certainly leave permanent streaks. You can rinse off from the top.
