Do NASCAR drivers ever come to your local track for racing events?

Oh yes...several weeks ago Tony was only a few miles away at Glen Ridge with his sweetiepie who he has sponsored for years. . Tony came in 3rd. His pit box was right next to our friend Bobby Varin. Bobby and his crew got to just sit and chat with him. Also...he was at Utica Rome speedway and that too is close by....hey wait a minute...that link is familiar to me!! :)

Matt Kenseth and Tony Stewart where at a track in Madison Wisconsin a few weeks ago. there's a few short tracks that Matt Kenseth goes here, as well as Paul Menard. sometime's they'll have a few other Nascar drivers participate in those races.

the Milwaukee Mile use to hold a Governor's Cup race event. Matt Kenseth was always the headline racer at that race. due to the financial woes with the Mile, they let go of that race as well just like the did with the Indy, and Nascar races.

Not at Greenville-Pickens, they do however test there on occasion. My old local tracks in New Jersey on the other hand had them once a year Mikey Waltrip,Steve Park, and Ken Schrader ran at Wall Raceway on NASCAR night, and even Dale Jr made an appearance with Martin Truex Jr some years ago. And Tony used to run the dirt track at New Egypt once a year as well, and QVC did an installment of For Race Fans only from there with Tony.

Last year, 2009 Kyle Busch came to Toledo Speedway (Toledo Ohio) on a Friday night to race in ARCA, this was 2 days before the June Michigan race. The race was 200 laps on a 3/4 mile track, sorry to say it but Kyle made it 12 laps before crashing into the wall. The funny part was the fact that they stopped the race for 30 minutes, so that they could clean up the track and let Kyle get picked up by his personal helicopter in the middle of the track!

I believe he was trying to make it to MIS for Qualifying.

Some of us did get to meet him before the race got started tho!

Ok well Junior had a penalty for illegal wing brackets like 4 years ago, but that's not really the driver's fault. He had 2 incidents at Bristol in 2002 though: A post race altercation with Robby Gordon in the spring and in the summer race, Ward Burton threw his heel guards at Junior for wrecking him. He was penalized during the Chase for saying "****" during his victory lane interview, essentially costing him the championship.

Greg Biffle, Clint Bowyer, A.J. Allmendinger and Jason Leffler, were at Elko Speedway in Minnesota

Back when the ASA was a top notch late model series they used to come up to Cayuga Speedway in Canada for a 200 lapper and drivers like DW and Bobby Allison would come up and race . Also guys like Mark Martin , Johnny Benson, and Dick Trickle were series regulars.

Yes, they all race twice a year about 2 miles from my house. Richmond International Raceway.

And they race twice a year 5 miles from my moms house. Martinsville Speedway. :D
