Apply for E.M.A ( Education Maintenince Award ) Process?
I am a student entering 4th year after the holidays( In Scotland) , and i am aware that i am eligible to apply for the E.M.A (Education Maintenince Award) but i am not sure the process to do do .

I would like you to tell me ( Any of the following )
When in the year to apply for it ?eg. december, january or March
What kind of documents to send?
When will it Start?
How often and how much are the payments ?
When will i get a reply to know if i am eligible ?
And if it fails can i apply again ?
And any other useful information on apply for the E.M.A
This question my only apply to recent or past E.M.A applicants in Scotland.

Shortbread: Thanks for the reply , alraedy visited website before but it doen't have the answer to "When will I start to reply ?"
Also it said in the webxite that the scheme will be reviewed in DECember 2010 does that mean that anyone starting next year cannot apply?

The best place to find the answers is on the EMA Scotland website. Link below. Second link is application guidance.
Add - ok, if you're not going until next year you are jumping the gun a bit. You can't apply until next year so wait and see what happens after the review. You apply once you're accepted at a college. (My son did it). The amount you get (as you can see on the website) depends on your parents income, but the money is only paid out at the end of term because it depends on attendance levels and things.
