Well, i would allways draw my friends cards with money in it. They actually like it becuase it wasn't bought or anything.....100% from me...and mostly money is good idea but @ tht age it's best not to give money, find out what he likes and learn online how to do it...
Trust me go with a card and something awesome you made for him. Maybe a Stuffed Animal? But remember find out what they would really want and incorperate that with the card.
If you can't draw the card then write a poem in the card
good effort = great memorable card ;D
