Allowance for liquids on plane?

3 people are traveling together, and we only taking one carry on bag. Do each of us still get the one quart bag allowance of liquids? Does it matter that 3 bags will end up packed into one suitcase?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I don't know. I'd play it safe by having everyone take their own liquids in separate hand luggage. That hand luggage doesn't have to be a suitcase at all. They don't really care what your carry-on piece of luggage is as long as it's not too big. Even a plastic shopping bag is fine. You could carry the quart bags all by themselves, for that matter, and put them in the one carry-on bag after you pass security.

certainly, that's according to individual. each and each of you could carry one one-quart bag. From the TSA: "One-quart bag according to individual limits the finished liquid volume each and each traveller can carry. " positioned them interior the packing containers including your coat, handbag, etc.; do exactly no longer make a remark on the place the plastic luggage are going to entice interest. you're no longer doing something incorrect, you only do no longer desire to spend to any extent further time with TSA than you will desire to.
