My not to bright boy friend didn't put on sunscreen and is blistering. What to do?

He has really fair skin, and we went to a water park. We were exposed to the sun for about 3 hours until he put on SPF 55. He went in the water about 5 minutes after application. We stayed in the sun about 2 hours after that.

He is now very burned and is blistering/getting welts on his upper back and shoulders.

We tried cocoa butter mousturizer, Aloe Vera cooling gel, Solarcaine with Aloe Vera, an oatmeal bath and vinager and water.

He started to take cool showers and bought a sensitive skin soap.

Anyother suggestions? We're open to anything

Thank you :)

The cool showers and skin soap is a good idea(:

He has a second degree burn, so keep cool water on the burns, elevate the burned area, and afterwords, if you have any, wrap a sterile bandage around/on it. Use Google for anything I might've missed.

Apply cold milk to it and allow the milk to dry on his skin, it will neutralize the burn and put moisture on the skin.
