No. It is not reversible.
Fibrosis is. Late stage cirrhosis is not. Even if the cancer is treated it can take months for improvement to happen. In older patients the active enzymes in the liver that break down toxins are often severely depleted making it hard to bounce back from illness.

It’s possible if it is a liver primary and is a single small lesion that is removed. If it’s mets no.

please read about dr berkson , he has been treating liver diseases for years , he uses
intravenous alpha lipoic acid and oral ala , along with low dose naltrexone for liver cancer , pancreatic cancer . he also gave (ala) alpha lipoic acid to a couple who ate toxic mushrooms I think they are called deathcap mushrooms , these people were considered terminal , dr berkson was working at the hospital where they were , so instead of watching them die , he gave them intravenous ala , and they went home in 2 weeks and their livers regenerated and they are still fine
