Who would allow their guns to be confiscated?

it wouldnt work because only the civilians would hand them over, what about criminals?

i dont have a gun, and i dont need one either, in my opinion, if you need a bullet to do the fighting for you you're nothing but a *****.

I don't.

Even if is"boiled down to it", it is not then ipso facto that guns would need to be handed over, just because of military rule instead of civilian rule.

If, in some insane set of circumstances, that was to occur, that would be the last thing I would hand over. I sure don't think I'd be out in the streets flaunting it, but I would not run down and turn it in, either.

wasn't there federal legislation passed that prevents the government from confiscating firearms after hurricane katrina? Regardless, if the police come for your guns, they know you have them or they would not be at your house. They will take them if you refuse to give them over, and there is not alot you will be able to do except get in a firefight with the police or hand them over. The chances of that ever happening here are slim to none, but one never knows with politics.

Some might, but the practical aspects of it are insane. Most people around here have at least 3 guns - and many are unregistered. Plus it isn't too hard to make your own.

Martial law doesn't mean confiscation either, it merely means you have curfews, less political processes, and other minor things.

It would be a very sad and dangerous thing for him or anyone to ever try. Some would probably hand over their guns but many, including me, would not. It would result in loss of life on all sides and a major rip in our society. It would be simply a disaster,

1. any felon

2. any domestic assault perpetrator

3. any moron from Naoleens.

I don't have a gun... Strange, though. If that was to happen, the first thing I would do is find a gun and hide it. Probably bury it in the back yard.
