Has anyone been able to run Borderlands off of intel's newest integrated graphics?
i have 4 gigs of ram and an i5 dual core 2.53 gHz processor and a 7200rpm harddrive
its a laptop so adding a video card is out of the question. im able to run left 4 dead and portal just fine

I doubt it. Even though your processor is fairly fast and you have a good amount of RAM, you should consider getting a graphics card. Your computer will hiccup very frequently with settings on low.
I recommend this card. My friend has it and it runs Borderlands very well. I think he has it at all highs, with 4x AA: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8...

NOONE, AND I MEAN NOONE IN THE WORLD, WHO USES INTEGRATED GRAPHICS CAN RUN ANY GAMES, NO MATTER THEIR OTHER SYSTEM SPECS (besides emulators & roms, flash, or linux games).
You can, however, buy a cheap video card for about $30 or so, and it's MORE THAN LIKELY that it will run it (with your i5 & 4GB ram).
