yes I agree..These are my predictions for the AFC West this year..(Last year i got 10 out of my 12 playoff teams right.)

1.San Diego 11-5

2.Oakland Raiders 9-7(wildcard 6th seed)

3.KC Chiefs

4.Danver Broncos

I write a magazine for my hometown, football predictions..cause im extremely accurate..and guess who I predicted to make the Superbowl? no lie...Colts vs. Saints...(I live in Louisiana, and I would go to all the Saints training sessions, and they looked like a championship team, they looked completely different than last year' team and more focused, and i knew this was the YEAR!)

Why the Improvement: Oakland's QB Jason Cambell, WILL have a 4,000+ passing season, now that he has a solid more reliable running game..Camble will have less pressure on him to Complete passes, and Rack up Touchdown's and the Defense will be Top 15 this year..I could put more but...You know.

Actually, they do have a chance. I'm not saying they WILL contend, but they might.

They managed to have a positive offseason, and they got rid of the malignant Jamarcus Russell. So this team is definitely on the rise. And every year there seems to be at least one team that was awful the year before but comes out of nowhere to post a winning record. Who knows, maybe it'll be the Raiders this year.

It helps that, as you mentioned, the AFC West is awful this year. I think the Chargers are going to enter rebuilding mode soon, and the Chiefs are terrible. The Broncos are a bit better than the rest, but they are hardly impressive.

the chargers won it with 8-8 so it can happen but as a raiders fan there best shot is wildcard which i doubt but if the chargers dont sign jackson all they gotta do is double cover gates and stop ryan matthews i think the chargers will go 10-6 and take the division then raiders at 8-8 chiefs at 6-10 broncos at 5-11

I think they will Raiders will barely miss the playoffs this year with a 9-7 record.

The Chargers despite their losses are still the top team of the division but the Raiders are getting there.

Even though the Chargers have lost a ton of their key players, I still think they will take the Division champ again. Why we let so many players go, is beyond me. Darren Sproles is my only hope this year. If Rivers would be more consistent in his playing, he would be a top QB, no questions asked.

I say Chargers, Chiefs, Raiders, Broncs... We'll see what happens- I think it will be a crappy division regardless this year. SD is going to have to fall and rebuild... I definitely see that happening :(

I don't know about the playoffs, but I think they will win between 6-10 games this year,it takes time to rebuild a team, maybe a few years but not now.

probably not this year but maybe next year, it's a shame that winning more than 5 games will be an improvement for the Raiders

I believe they have a legitimate shot but don't count out the others just yet. The Raiders haven't really played solid the last few years so they have their work cut out for them.

I thknk the Raiders will be better, but not playoffs better. Kind of hard to get worse AFTER you cut JaMarcus Russell
