It depends on how formal/casual you want the invite to be :) There are SO many ideas that you can find on Google. Make sure to include all of the necessary info(time, date, place, RSVP date) If your friend knows what she's having, you can put that on there. Also include if she's registered anywhere :)

For example, if you wanted nothing too fancy,you could say...

"Join us for a

baby shower

in honor of

HER NAME

Date

Time

Address

Who the host is

RSVP date and way for them to reach you

then any info about baby registry"

Ok consider sending a unique video invitation! There is a website that allows users to upload their personalized video message into invitations and cards. So in your case you all can create a very nice video message recording. This website is free and we just used one birthday party invitation and it was blast. All guests were like "what?" lol it was so impressive, creative and unique.

if you are in charge of invitations then consider this and you will also stand out like creative person. that also has RSVP feature. it is free so no need to spend lots of money. (it was free when we used it lol) check the website link i posted here in source area.

Just google shower invite wording. There are many cute ones out there.

I know lots of women who have more than one shower, and keep them seperate from friends and family. Thats your choice, not hers. Tell her she don't have to come if she's just gonna put on a show. This is your day for your baby, not hers.
