Where to find Model number, year of motor, I have the serial number only and know it is a mariner 90 hp.?
I bought a used boat, it came with a mariner outboard motor 90 hp. I need to change out the water pump on this motor but need to know where to find info with no manual. I need model number, year made. I have the serial number only at this time could not find anything else except a date on the electric starter that says 1985. Where do I find the info I need to get the right part for the replacement water pump impeller?

When ordering parts from mercury/Mariner, all you need is the serial number. Use this site to determine the year.
