How best to clean computer screens?

Look, best absolute way is to turn off power and use slightly damp lint free cotton cloth with water, and then dry with dry lint free cotton cloth. ~

It might be $15 at Best Buy, but you get what you pay for. Monster* Screen Cleaner comes with a microfiber cloth and is by far the best thing I've ever used. I highly recommend it. It's also a gel-like fluid, but doesn't leave a residue. You never have to worry about it running down into the machine. The above suggestions sound great, but remember - going against manufacture recommendation voids a warranty. If they see that a computer screen was ruined by using something that wasn't made for it - you're out all that money. Hope that helped!

Don't buy those expensive screen cleaners at the office supply stores. They are a waste of money

Take some mild dish soap and a soft cloth and wipe the finger prints away. Dry it the same way..............with a soft cloth.

Be careful. Wring the clothe before you wipe just in case some of the soapy water goes inside the machine.

I have a 23 inch wide screen desk top monitor which gets dusty and fingerprinty (if that's a word) and I don't have any problems with this method.

Well it all depends on the screen because each type of screen has different type liquid in it. So I recommend newspaper and a surface cleaner spray.( what you do is spray the cleaner on newspaper and rub the newspaper on the screen) If that doesn't work email me what kind of laptop you got and I will know how to get rid of fingerprints.

by using a clean piece of cloth with some alcohol, then immediately clean the screen with a dry clean piece of cloth.

I used a dried out baby wipe, that worked, I wouldn't recommend using a wet one though.

there is this microfiber cloth i use it is not made for computers they mostly use for cleaning cars but it workes great for cleaning computers

Yea just spray Windex onto a paper towel (not on the screen) and use it to wipe of all the marks, its always leaves it spotless =]

U can use napkin for cleaning glasses

or any not dusty napkin
