Why doesn't Pacquiao veto a Cotto/Margarito fight?

Would Pacquiao really rather fight one of these guys instead of Bradley, Williams, or Berto?

I disagree with the previous answer because other than Mayweather...no matter who Pacquiao fights it will Pacquiao vs. "the opponent". the real answer is Pacquiao serious has no say and doesn't care to. Arum and Roach have fashioned his resume and he fights the fights. Arum tries to keep all the fights in La Familia...as Max Kellerman put it Saturday in his league. Pacquiao, like Mayweather cares not what's good for boxing...he does his job and goes home. The real question is why does Arum and Roach want these fights instead of putting him in against the better fighters you named? I think there is an issue of protecting their biggest money earner.

He probably sees them as creditable opponents. I don't like the idea of the fights either, but I'm not sold on Bradley and Berto just because they beat Abregu and Carlos Quintana. I think if you put Margarito or Cotto in a fight with either Bradley and Berto that those would be pretty even fights. Honestly, I think all they ever wanted to do was have Pacquiao have a couple fights at welter, then fight Mayweather, then Manny was going to retire. That's what I believe that they had Manny come up for, to simply fight Money.

I really don't think he will face williams. Williams is too big for pacquiao and i think williams has about a 70 percent chance of beating him because of his height and reach advantage. Bradly just fought and since manny wants to fight in november a fight with him is kinda outta the question.

As for berto why don't u ask Arum that. Manny just fights he don't make the fight I really don't think he cares to much who he fights either. He Really does not focus much on boxing until its time to train he has other stuff he worries about

I guess an easy 5 to 10 million is an attractive proposition, Manny is in position to make a relatively risk free couple million, you can't hardly blame him for doing it, who wouldn't?

I think Manny should retire today and be done with it. There's only one fight I want to see. Manny and Floyd in November not next year not in 2 years. As usual I agree 100% with seabiscuit. Screw Mayweather and his whole family they are all chumps.

Easy money, low risk high reward, whatever mone split he wants. He could probably get a 95/5 split with Margarito and it would be fair.

most casual fans dont know who these guys are

so they have to make some kind of public appearance issuing a challenge or something

like T.V or magazine or something
