Should I learn Rex Kwon Do?

I recently visited a new dojo to my neighborhood and discovered Rex Kwon Do. The sensei was really convincing, but the 8 week program costs $300. Does anyone know if it would be worth it?

Wooooooooooooow. Almost nobody else in this topic got the joke. Lol at the first response, she's really taking it seriously.

But to answer your question, are YOU ready for the power that only Rex Kwon Do provides? Are you ready for the Power of a Bear, The Speed of a Panther, and The Wisdom......of a MAAAAAAAAAN?

Because in Rex Kwon Do you have to learn to discipline up your image. No more dressing like Peter Pan, you've gotta have American-flag Gi-Pants all the way.

You think some punk wants a roundhouse kick to the face while you're wearing those bad-boys? FORGET ABOUT IT!!!!

    No!

Usually people who fuse their name with a martial art (this time its rex + taekwondo) opens a mcdojan (at least from experience it does)!

Also $300 for 8 weeks soundes far too much (it would be helpful if you can tell us how much lessons you get per week and how long they last next time though)! A 8 week program (aka 2 months) costs $42 for WTF styled taekwondo from where I live and for ITF styled taekwondo it costs $51 for one 90 minutes session per week.

The instructor may sound convincing, but really, I suggest you looking at other options avaliable before making your final choice

Never heard of it, but it sounds a bit rich to me. What is his focus there? To train martial artists, or just to separate as much money from you as possible? In my experience, expensive lessons are only of two kinds. Very good (hence expensive), or not much good at all, being mostly a rip-off. My advice, be careful with your money. Buyer beware, like everything else you spend hard earned money on.

generally it's not a good idea to take up fighting systems created in movies such as Napolean Dynamite. I seriously doubt this is worth your money, unless it turns you into Starla.
