I got my oil changed at jiffy lube, 881 miles later when I started it the warning?

i dont think its jiffy lubes fault, but if you got a higher millage engine, the oil filter could be full of sludge, chang e your filter, see if it does it again, could be a cheap filter, i recomend wix my self, pennsoil is good too.if it was low on oil and on a hill ,it could make light come on., or both. if i had more info., i could help you pin point the problerm.it could be worn cam bearings or worn oil pump. its hard to say with out talking to you in person, the oil sensor could be going bad, you need a good mechanic to talk to in person to get down to the problem, i cant do this on the computer at home.. be careful on what some one tells you, guessing cost you, not the inexspearenced mechanic.. get more than 2 opinions. i hope i helped you some what.

Is it coming on when the key is turned, but before the starter actually turns the engine over? That may be normal, as some lights flash on before starting car.

If it happens after the engine has actually been started, my guess would be it is the oil pump going out. Does it only do it when starting it, or does it do it sometimes while driving?

Have you checked the oil level?

They may have accidentally not put enough in there so sometimes the light comes on. That would be my best guess. I would take it back and complain and get them to fix the problem.

Why did you wait so long? You should have already taken it back there.
