Who will have a better career in movies, Selena Gomez or Miley Cyrus?

Selena Gomez is going to do better in the field of acting. She's been acting all her life and has already won a couple of awards as best supporting/actress or cast member. She is also a very disciplined worker. She works a lot. She's not only acting on TV and movies but also does charity work and has a clothing line... and did I mention she also has a singing career? Someone that works that hard at a young age has a bright future in any field.

Then we have Miley, who is into drama but of the different kind. I dunno if her country background has anything to do with it, but she seems to be extremely confused over how to tackle her career as a singer and movie star. I won't get into her singing career because that's another issue but I'll give my take on her acting abilities.

Miley has been "acting" on the Hannah Montana show for years. I've seen the show only because I have small nieces and I had to watch it. Right off the bat I was able to tell that barely anyone on that show could act. I got the impression that they landed the job based entirely on their youthful enthusiasm and their ability to look decent on camera. Watching that show reminded me when I did some stage-plays back in middle school. The performances were so bland and barely required any talent.

So when Miley was finally able to play a part on the big screen that didn't involve Hannah Montana, she was simply not prepared for it at all. In "The Last Song", Miley only manifested a pathetic repertoire of 3 facial expressions during the entire film. When she wasn't pouting in her "I'm angry" face she had that creepy toothy smile that has earned her the nickname "horseface". Her other expression was looking sad. Now, how the hell is she going to become an actress with such a limited repertoire?

Simply put, all her years in Hannah Montana were a waste of time and added nothing to her acting abilities. And that's why "The Last Song was blasted by critics. Because of Miley's acting and not so much because of the predictable storyline and plot of the film. Don't believe it? Read the reviews at metacritic or rottentomatoes.

Anyway, Miley is a disaster at the moment. She's more known for dating 21 year old pedos, giving 44 year olds a lap-dance and pole-dancing than for being a good actress.

Thus Selena in this case, looks to have a better chance to make it big as an actress.

P.S. And Kwame, Jessica Alba is 100% California native and her father is Mexican. Her mother has some European descent in her bloodline but that alone does not make Alba European.

I think Miley Cyrus is a terrible actress and she is annoying with an annoying voice. Miley also doesn't seem to know what she wants, one minute she's Hannah Montana, the next she's trying to be a provoctative singer, and the next she's telling everyone that she's a down to earth girl who grew up in Tenesse or wherever she's from. However, Selena is a much better actress and she seems like she has a nice, bubbly personality and she"s worked hard to get to where she is at and I think she will have a better movie career than Miley when shes older.

Well Miley, shes kinda spoiled. Her parent would do anything for her to get what she wants, or to be famous, etc.

But Selena, shes a great/loving/kind actor. Very committed in her work.

Whos is the better actor? Selena.

Who will make big bucks and probably will be in more movies? Miley.

Definatley Selena Gomez. Miley is an overated whore.

Selena Gomez, she is also fluent in Spanish and she wanted to be in a telenovela too. That would bring more Mexican/Latina culture to showbiz. She is more serious than Miley.

She will be compared to the big Latina stars like Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz. Jessica Alba doesn't count because she is mostly European. We are seeing more and more Hispanics into Hollywood!
