If Shigeru Miyamoto dies... should Nintendo stop making Mario & Zelda games?

What do you think?

Will these franchises that are traditionally infused with that Miyamoto touch, be able to survive without him in the long run?

I'll miss that "Miyamoto touch" but Zelda is already in the hands of Eiji Aonuma. Aonuma was selected by Miyamoto himself to take care of that series.

In regards to Super Mario, don't forget that Miyamoto had Takashi Tesuka directing and producing most if not all the Mario games, including Zelda.

So those franchises could still continue being good for a long time.

At this point, with how long each character has been around, they have embedded themselves in video game culture forever. Many people know what to expect from these games and they can be recreated accordingly. Mario and Link rock :D
